This week I am going to take a closer look at the NFL player prop bet odds for which running back will gain the most rushing yards in the 2015 regular season.

NFL 2015 Prop Bet Odds Favorites For Most Rushing Yards

Adrian Peterson 3/1

Peterson was a perennial favorite to win the NFL rushing title for most of his eight-year NFL career, but some off field issues derailed his 2014 season in which he only carried the ball 21 times for 75 yards. His finest season as a pro was in 2012 when he carried the ball 348 times for 2,097 total yards. The experts from the best Prop bets Sportsbook online feel that there is no doubt that Peterson will be Minnesota’s featured back this season, but the rust from his recent layoff drains some of the value in his odds.

Marshawn Lynch 4/1

The Seattle Seahawks were the top rushing team in the NFL last season with Lynch leading the way. He ended-up ranked fourth on the list with a total of 1,306 rushing yards. The year before he was sixth with 1,257 and in 2012 he ranked third with 1,590. There is no doubt that he will once again be a big part of the Seahawks’ offensive scheme, but the addition of tight end Jimmy Graham could swing some of his touches to the passing game.

Jamaal Charles 6/1

Charles is another one of those running backs that you can count on for 1000+ yards every single season. He has been in the league for seven seasons and his best effort came in 2012 with 1,509 rushing yards on 285 carries. His attempts dropped to 206 last season but at five yards a carry he still gained 1,033 yards. Kansas City added wide receiver Jeremy Maclin as a free agent this season, so do not be surprised if his former coach in Philadelphia and current Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid throws the ball more this year.

Top Valued Play

Eddie Lacy 13/2

When you have Aaron Rodgers as your quarterback you can almost guarantee that you are going to throw the ball more than run it, but I still believe that there is some tremendous value in Lacy’s betting odds to win the 2015 rushing title. In his first two years in the NFL he has shown some solid consistency with 1,178 rushing yards in 2013 and 1,139 yards last season. You cannot help but get the feeling he is going to have a breakout year in 2015. Top
