Bet On San Francisco 49ers

With the 2013 NFL Football Betting season rapidly approaching, we are taking a spin around for a closer look at the SF 49ers team. In the first place, the SF 49ers are going to face some difficult decisions in the coming weeks. The fact that a roster is loaded up with many young talents, therefore it is becoming much harder to keep everyone under contract when they develop. Such is the case with the 49ers. By the next summer, CB Tarell Brown, C Jonathan Goodwin, WRs Mario Manningham and Anquan Boldin and S Donte Whitner could hit free agency. The San Francisco 49ers will simply have to spend wisely because contracts of Kaepernick, Gore and Smith are all set to expire after 2014.

Most important move

The San Francisco released long-snapper Jennings a week before Brian Jennings would have set a record for consecutive game plays. That said, Brian Jennings had been with the 49ers since 2000 and he was the longest-tenured 49ers player. The 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh stated the San Francisco 49ers were thinking about signing a cheaper and younger player at some position that can be taken for granted. Still, there is a shock that the longtime player received his release.

What’s next

The SF 49ers will have to wait for several players to get healthy. Crabtree, Manningham, Eric Wright, Carradine, Lattimore, Luke Marquardt and Quinton Dial are currently on the reserve and non-football injury lists. None of them counts against the 53-man roster. For example Lattimore, the running back 49ers selected in the 4th round this year isn’t expected to be back until next season. Demarcus Dobbs is on the suspended list for week 1.

Predictions: Mixed

The 49ers are the favorites of many to return to the Super Bowl this year. They seem to have it all: top head coach, highly-touted young quarterback and bone crushing defense. However, some are skeptical about the results the 49ers will achieve. The main reason is the 49ers are going to need to either win the NFC West or grab one of these two Wild Card spots. It doesn’t sound hard but in the first place the NFC is flat out though. For example, the Bears went 10-6 and didn’t even get in. The Giants went 9-7 and didn’t make it neither. That said, anything can happen in the NFC. In addition, the SF 49ers have the unfortunate task of playing the Seahawks twice this season. The Seattle Seahawks have a strong secondary that keeps quarterbacks much more experienced than Kaepernick up at night. Kaepernick is a great player but the amount he tucks the ball and run makes him an injury risk. If Collin Kaepernick goes down, the San Francisco 49ers will have to turn to McCoy or Wallace to work under center.
Computer programs predicts the 49ers to win the Super Bowl

Now, here is one interesting fact. The computer software created by Prediction Machine simulated the NFL season 50,000 times and came up with the San Francisco 49ers as being most likely to win this season Super Bowl. The actual 2013 regular season and playoff schedules have been played over 50,000 times allowing to the creators of the program to compute average records and likelihoods of each team making playoffs, winning its division and bringing home the Super Bowl trophy.
