Football Betting Lines at BetAnySports — Giants Can’t Look Worse Than They Did Last Week – Can They? The Dallas Cowboys are tied for the best record in the NFL, if you can believe it. And they are coming off one of the best performances in the league this year. The New York Giants are trying to regroup after what was unquestionably one of the worst efforts of the year. These teams get together in football betting action that is set to begin at 4:25 PM ET at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.

Dallas held the defending champion Seattle Seahawks to 206 yards and nine first downs on the road in a 30-23 win last Sunday. The Giants were shut out 27-0 at Philadelphia in a game they would rather forget, because they lost their best receiver.

In the football betting lines on this game as they are posted at BetAnySports, the Cowboys are laying some points:

Football betting lines on this game as they are posted at BetAnySports

Dallas Cowboys -4.5
New York Giants +4.5

Over 46.5 Points -110
Under 46.5 Points -110

On the surface, it may appear as if this is a short number when you consider what the Cowboys have done and what happened with the Giants last week, as they quit against Philadelphia and lost Victor Cruz for the season as well.

There is no question that the Giants face some personnel challenges, as they are also playing without running back Rashad Jennings. This becomes important because Andre Williams, the rookie from Boston College, was absolutely not a guy who caught passes, and so it can be fairly said that he is a work in progress in that area.

But the Giants have been a “tough out” at AT&T Stadium, where they have won and covered four of their last five trips. There is the feeling on the part of some football bettors, without a doubt, that Dallas is still not “for real,” despite their manhandling of Seattle last week. And as many patrons at BetAnySports know if they have been NFL betting action for a while, teams have a tendency to gather up some pride and come up with an effort when they have been blown away the week before.

DeMarco Murray has been fantastic, and he has been a workhorse as well; on pace to set an NFL record for most carries in a season. But Dallas is going to be without starting right tackle Doug Free, who is integral to that running game, and the other tackle, Tyron Smith, has been struggling with an ankle injury. Will Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie be able to play, and how can Tony Romo exploit the New York secondary if he doesn’t?

And interesting note, and no coincidence here – Kevin Ogletree, a former Cowboy, was picked up by the Giants to take Cruz’s place on the roster. What will he be able to tell his teammates about the Dallas coverages?
