The Nevada Wolf Pack could have had a nice signature non-conference win the last time they took the field, but came up just short. They will try to do better, with an extra week of rest, as they take the field against the San Jose State Spartans in NCAA football betting action that begins at 10:30 PM ET at Spartan Stadium.
Nevada beat Southern Utah in its opener, but struggled along the way. Then they engaged in an unexpected defensive battle with high-flying Washington State and prevailed 24-13. Arizona, which is something of an opposite team from Wazzu in that they operate a run-oriented attack out of the spread formation, beat Nevada two weeks ago but had to hold off a late Wolf Pack rally to be able to do it.
San Jose State chalked up a win over FCS entry North Dakota leading off its season, then took it on the chin from top ten squad Auburn (59-13) and Minnesota (24-7) in what were particularly disappointing efforts.

Nevada does not have the same problem it did against Arizona, in the respect that they don’t have to worry too much about San Jose State controlling the ball on the ground.
