The team at the top of the list is last year’s champions, the New England Patriots. They have been listed as +390 favorites to win the AFC again following their run to last season’s Super Bowl title. Sports bettors continue to jump on the defending champ’s bandwagon despite the fact that their All Pro quarterback Tom Brady is set to miss the first four games of the regular season while serving out a suspension from the NFL for his role in an ball inflation incident in last year’s conference title game.

The team that lost to New England 45-7 as a seven-point underdog in that AFC title game was the Indianapolis Colts. They also happen to be a +420 second-favorite to win that game this time around. Their quarterback is Andrew Luck and heading into his fourth year in the league the Colts are hopeful that they can continue to take another step forward after winning 11 regular season games in each of his first three years.

The third-favorite to win the AFC this season on GTBETS NFL football betting current board is the Denver Broncos at +520. Quarterback Peyton Manning will be looking to follow in the footsteps of John Elway, who won a pair of Super Bowls in the twilight of his Hall of Fame career with the Broncos. Manning has already won one world title in his stellar 18-year career, but that was with the Colts. Last season Denver was upended by Indianapolis in the NFL Divisional Playoffs by a score of 24-13 as 9.5-point home favorites.

The NFL football betting odds start to fall off from there with Baltimore listed as a +1000 fourth-favorite to win the AFC. The last time the Ravens won the conference was in 2012 when they went on to beat San Francisco 34-31 as 4.5-point underdogs in Super Bowl XLVII.

Pittsburgh is a close fifth on the list at +1050 betting odds followed by Miami (+1250) and Cincinnati (+1500). San Diego is also listed at +1500 betting odds to win the AFC with Kansas City (+1800) and Houston (+2000) rounding out the Top 10 on GTBETS NFL Sportsbooks betting board. Top
