Aaron Rodgers 9/2

It would be hard to bet against Rodgers this season, especially with a chip on his shoulder after last year’s heart-breaking loss to Seattle in overtime of the NFC Championship. The former league MVP continues to play at a high level year after year and with the exception of an injury-plague campaign in 2013 he has routinely finished near the top of the list in this category throughout his football betting career.

Andrew Luck 9/4

The third time was almost the charm for Luck last season with a total of 4,761 passing yards that was third-most in the NFL Sportsbooks. He finished 13th in 2013 and seventh in his rookie year, so that upward climb could easily take him to the top of the list in 2015. The Colts added veteran wide receiver Andre Johnson as a free agent and they selected Phillip Dorsett in the first round of the draft to further bolster their already potent receiving corps.

Drew Brees 7/1

Brees actually tied Ben Roethlisberger for the passing title last season with 4,952 total yards. This was after finishing second in 2013 and first in both 2012 and 2011. That simply means that as long as he is under center in New Orleans as the starting quarterback there will be value in his odds. It also helps that the Saints love to air it out as one of the top three passing teams in the league last season with an average of 297.8 yards per game.

Top Valued Play

Peyton Manning 13/2

Manning is another one of those veteran gunslingers that always adds value to his odds to capture the passing title. He fell to fourth on the list in 2014 with a total of 4,727 passing yards after leading the league in 2013 with an amazing 5,477 passing yards, which was a new NFL single-season record. The Broncos resigned wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and the replaced the departed Julius Thomas with Owen Daniels at tight end, so he should once again have plenty of targets to throw to this season.
