NFL Week 10 Betting Preview

NFL Week 10 Betting Preview
As the calendar turns the page to November it is time to get serious when it comes to wins and losses in the NFL. While the front runners in the field will look to build their current lead in the division races, there are a few fading contenders that cannot afford too many more losses to stay in the race.

The perfect example of this scenario is the upside-down NFC West. The Arizona Cardinals did win 10 games last season, but few NFL Sportsbooks betting experts expected them to go 7-1 straight-up through the first half of the season. Even more surprising is the fact that they have a two-game lead over Seattle and a three-game lead over 4-4 San Francisco. The 49ers come into Week 10’s showdown against New Orleans riding a two-game losing streak and listed by 5Dimes as 4.5-point road underdogs.

When it comes to betting on the teams, the Cardinals are one of three teams with a 6-2 record against the spread. The other two are Philadelphia and Kansas City. The team with the best record ATS so far has been the Indianapolis Colts at 7-2. This past Monday night they waxed the New York Giants 40-24 as three-point road favorites on 5Dimes’ closing NFL betting odds to improve to 6-3 SU.

The costliest team to wager on this season has been the New York Jets. They are a dismal 1-8 SU through their first nine games with a costly 1-7-1 record ATS on 5Dimes closing betting lines. Another major drain on the wallet has been the 1-8 SU Jacksonville Jaguars, who are 2-6-1 ATS through their first nine games.

Turning to Week 10 in the NFL, Thursday night’s game features an AFC North showdown between the 5-3 SU (4-3-1 ATS) Cleveland Browns and the 5-2-1 SU (4-3-1 ATS) Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati has been listed by 5Dimes as a seven-point home favorite with the total set at 44.5. Cleveland has gone 6-3-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the total has gone OVER in five of the last six games in this divisional clash.

Sunday Night Football this week features a classic showdown in the NFC North between the fading Chicago Bears and the 5-3 SU (4-3-1 ATS) Green Bay Packers. The Bears went into last week’s bye with a 3-5 mark both SU and ATS and they have been listed as eight-point road underdogs in this matchup with a total line of 53.5. Chicago is just 3-11 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the total has stayed UNDER in five of the last six meetings in Green Bay. Follow Every1bets.com on Google + Top
