NFL Week 16 Betting Preview

NFL Week 16 Betting Preview

The NFL regular season is rapidly coming to a close and bettors will have a number of intriguing matchups in Week 16’s slate to keep them busy all weekend long. Division titles and playoff spots are on the line, so the betting action at 5Dimes will be fast and furious starting with one last Thursday night game.

Both the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars are bringing up the rear in the AFC South at 2-12, so the biggest impact of Thursday night’s tilt in Jacksonville will be on next May’s NFL college draft. The Jaguars have been listed as three-point home favorites with 5Dimes setting the NFL Sportsbook betting odds on the total at 41.

Philadelphia’s 38-27 loss to Dallas this past Sunday night as a three-point home favorite has the 9-5 Eagles on the outside looking in as far as the postseason. They need to beat 3-11 Washington this Saturday as heavy nine-point road favorites and hope that the 10-4 Indianapolis Colts can go into Dallas on Sunday and knock-off the 10-4 Cowboys as 2.5-point road underdogs. The total line for the Eagles vs. Redskins’ division matchup has been set at 50.5 and it has been set at 55.5 for the Colts vs. Cowboys’ inter-conference clash.

The 11-3 Arizona Cardinals keep finding ways to win games, but they will face their biggest test of the season this Sunday with 10-4 Seattle coming to town as heavy nine-point road favorites. The main reason for such a wide spread is the fact that Arizona is down to its third-string quarterback Ryan Lindley to try and keep its NFC West title hopes alive. The NFL betting odds at the Best Reduced Juice USA Sportsbooks for the total in this game have been set at 36.5.

New England, Denver and Indianapolis have all clinched division titles in the AFC, but the battle in the congested AFC North rages on. Cincinnati is clinging to a half-game lead at 9-4-1 and it will have to host the Broncos this Monday night as a 3.5-point underdog. The total in that game has been set at 47.5.

The 9-5 Pittsburgh Steelers will also be at home this Sunday against 8-6 Kansas City in what is basically a playoff elimination game. The Steelers have been listed by 5Dimes as three-point favorites with the total set at 46.5. The 9-5 Baltimore Ravens will on the road against Houston, but 5Dimes NFL Sportsbooks has yet to release its NFL betting odds for that matchup. Top
