Pro Football Odds at BetAnySports -- Seahawks Hope Crowd Noise Can Disrupt Cowboys

It is well known among Bet Any Sports customers that the crowded CenturyLink Field in Seattle is a very disruptive force. In fact, it is said that more false starts on the part of the visiting team are committed in that stadium than anywhere else in the NFL. Certainly the home-standing Seattle Seahawks hope that SOMETHING gets in the way of the oncoming train that is the Dallas Cowboys’ offense, and the defending Super Bowl champions are going to try to continue their superiority on their home field as they face off against Dallas and try to beat the pro football odds as the favorite in a Fox-televised game that kicks off at 4:25 PM ET.

The Cowboys started off their season in very inauspicious fashion, as Tony Romo was rusty and threw three interceptions, which the San Francisco 49ers used to build up a 28-3 lead on the way to a 28-17 victory. But since then, Dallas has won four games in a row, and it hasn’t been easy. In one of those contests they came back from a 21-0 deficit to beat the St. Louis Rams. Then they gained revenge over the New Orleans Saints for a horrific beating they suffered in the 2013 season. Last week they went to overtime against the Houston Texans and pulled out a 20-17 victory. This is a team that went into the season very short-handed on defense, but somehow they have been able to disguise it by controlling the football behind a bruising running game led by the man who may be the game’s premier back at the moment.

Of course, Marshawn Lynch of the Seahawks has something to say about that. The workhorse back has 306 yards on the season and he helps key a running game that also includes some great work from quarterback Russell Wilson, who just recently set a Monday night football record for most rushing yards by a signal-caller.

In the pro football betting odds that have been established at Bet Any Sports on this game, the Seahawks are solid favorites:

Seattle Seahawks -9
Dallas Cowboys +9

Over 46 Points -110
Under 46 Points -110

This is one of those rare games in which both sides have run the ball more than they have passed it. As far as the Cowboys are concerned, that is indeed a big surprise. But the most valuable player for them this season has been DeMarco Murray, the tremendous talent who has gone over 100 yards in each of the team’s five games, totaling 670 yards on the season. He has helped Dallas gave a real possession edge over opponents, as they have had the ball for 34 minutes per game.

BetAnySports customers witnessed Wilson run for 122 yards against the Redskins on Monday night. That was on the road; at home, the Seahawks have been almost unbeatable with this quarterback at the helm. In his brief pro career, Wilson has a record of 19-1 straight-up at CenturyLink Field, with a 15-4-1 mark against the pro football odds. There is no question that this crowd will make it difficult for Dallas to call audibles at the line of scrimmage. And Romo must be prepared for that. He also must be prepared to throw the ball a little more than he intends to, because Seattle is the NFL’s best against the run, allowing just 2.6 yards per carry.
