The Buffalo Bills looked like they were cruising along for while, using a change at the offensive coordinator position to their advantage as they had won four games in a row, but they have fallen hard lately, losing three straight, while the Miami Dolphins have overtaken them for second place in the AFC East. On Sunday they will try to stop the bleeding as they line up against the Cincinnati Bengals, another struggling team, in a game that will kick off at 1 PM ET at Paul Brown Stadium. Fox Network will televise the game on a regional basis, and BetAnySports and pay per head patrons will have the opportunity to keep the action going even after the opening kickoff, as they partake in real-time wagering through the magic of Live Betting Ultra. The Bills have not made the playoffs in the last 16 seasons, and while things were looking up for Rex Ryan for a while, we are not sure what his status will be if they end the season with a losing record. They have been able to make some progress in terms of defense, as Ryan’s team is rushing the passer with some vigor once again. The Bills lead the league with 30 sacks, looking very much like they did two years ago, when they finished #2 in the NFL in that category.

In this particular game they may find themselves a willing foil in Andy Dalton, who has been sacked 28 times, eight more than he sustained all of last season. Dalton, who in general would rather take a sack then throw an ill-advised pass (which is admirable) has, like Buffalo quarterback Tyrod Taylor, thrown 10 touchdown passes. And now he at least has the services of tight end Tyler Eifert, who’s had 198 receiving yards in the last two games since coming back from an injury.

BetAnySports patrons know that both these teams would obviously love to run the football. Cincinnati had been on a bit of a roll, with 432 yards on the ground over their previous two games before being held to just 78 yards against the Giants last week. Buffalo is second in the NFL in rushing, at 155 yards per game, and it seems as if Shady McCoy has gotten over the hamstring injury which slowed him down considerably. He currently averages 5.1 yards per carry. And then there is the additional element that Taylor adds. The quarterback has run for 362 yards, and he is also taking care the football very well, with just three interceptions in 268 attempts. Buffalo has lost only two fumbles this season, so it is fair to say that if they are going to get beaten, it won’t be by themselves.

One player to watch on the Buffalo side is Robert Woods, who caught 10 passes for 162 yards in the 31-25 loss to the Seattle Seahawks that came before the bye week. He may find himself going up against PacMan Jones, who has been faltering a little more than usual this season. Center Eric Wood is out for Buffalo, and that’s a bad break for the rushing game.
