The New York Jets are well aware that they were a little fortunate that they were playing against a quarterback making his NFL debut last week. This week, that couldn’t be farther than the truth as they go up against the Green Bay Packers, who are coming off the disappointment of a 20-point loss at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. The Packers, led by Aaron Rodgers, may have all of their weapons ready as they play host to the Jets at Lambeau Field in NFL betting action that begins at 4:25 PM ET.
The Jets had an outstanding defensive outing against the Oakland Raiders, holding the Silver and Black to 176 total offensive yards. They are aggressive, as any defense coached by Rex Ryan is going to be, but they have some holes that may be tailor-made for a guy like Rogers to exploit.

Certainly the Jets dealt out some lumps to Derek Carr, who was the only rookie to make a start at quarterback in the opening week. They registered a couple of sacks, but put pressure on the first-timer the entire day. Yes, their own quarterback, Geno Smith, turned the ball over a couple of times, but in general the offense worked just the way Ryan would like it to – with the so-called “ground-and-pound,” with 212 yards on the ground. One of their 34 attempts was a 71-yard touchdown run by Chris Ivory, and Chris Johnson did just fine in his first game as a Jet with 68 yards on 13 carries.
For the Packers, running back Eddie Lacy, who had such an outstanding rookie campaign, suffered his second concussion against Seattle. His absence would not have created a huge problem for Green Bay, in all likelihood, because James Starks is perfectly capable of handling a heavier load. Green Bay may have more worries on the offensive line, where right tackle Bryan Bulaga sprained an MCL in his left knee. NFL bettors know the Jets can create a lot of havoc with defensive ends Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson.
