The Lions opened their preseason with a 23-3 victory against the New York Jets as 3.5-point home favorites. The total stayed UNDER the closing 35-point line at the best live betting Sportsbooks. Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford looked sharp right out of the gate with a 35-yard scoring strike to Golden State to give the Lions the early lead. Detroit ended the day with 235 yards passing and an impressive 193 yards on the ground.

Washington squeezed-out a 20-17 win over Cleveland in its preseason opener as a 1.5-point road underdog. The total stayed UNDER in this game as well with a closing line of 39.5. Robert Griffin III completed half of his eight passes for 36 yards in limited action, while backup Kirk Cousins connected on 12-of-14 attempts for 154 yards. The Redskins also looked solid on the ground with 153 yards rushing.

Detroit is 3-0 both straight-up and against the spread in the last three meetings and the total has stayed UNDER in seven of the last 10 games between these two.

The second game on Thursday night is a nationally broadcast clash on ESPN at 8 p.m. (ET) between the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Browns are favored by three points at home and VietBet has set the total line at 40.

The Bills ended-up on the wrong end of a 25-24 loss to Carolina in Week 1 of the preseason as 3.5-point home favorites on a last minute score, but they have to be excited about the play of quarterback Tyrod Taylor and a ground game that gained 206 yards. Taylor is expected to get the start on Thursday night. The total in that game went OVER 38.

The highlight of Cleveland’s loss to the Redskins last week was backup quarterback Johnny Manziel’s 12-yard scramble for a score. The bad news is that the Browns only managed 125 yards passing and another 45 yards on the ground. Manziel actually led all rushers with 14 yards on two carries.

Buffalo has gone 3-1 both SU and ATS in the last four meetings and the total has stayed UNDER in four of the last five matchups. Top
