The New York Giants are looking real good right now, even though they don’t have a great chance of catching and passing the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. Or do they? They’d like to think so, although it would take a collapse on the part of Dallas for that to happen. On Sunday they will face a team that has been in a perpetual state of collapse, or so it seems, as they visit the Cleveland Browns, the only winless team in the NFL, in a game that begins at 1 PM ET at First Energy Stadium. BetAnySports patrons are kind of spoiled, because they cannot only enjoy great Asian & USA online casino action and deposits that can be made with Bitcoin, but they don’t have to stop wagering at the opening kickoff, as they can take advantage of what is available through the state-of-the-art online bookie software from Live Betting Ultra.

The Browns are 0-11 on the season, and they have been changing quarterbacks about as often as most people change underwear. Actually, we are exaggerating that; they thought they had a guy they could groom for the future in Cody Kessler, who had thrown only one interception going into last week’s games, but he has not passed through the NFL’s concussion protocol, so Josh McCown, the wily veteran, will take his place. It’s a good thing Cleveland had McCown around, even though they had drafted Kessler and signed former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III, because he has been a necessary part of the “musical chairs” that they have played at the quarterback position. Right now the Browns are going through an especially difficult time, as they have failed to cover their last five games. Meanwhile, the Giants are winners of five straight, and they are actually playing their first true game as a visitor since losing to the Green Bay Packers 23-16 back in October.

Last week was kind of an adventure for the Giants, as they played an awful first half against the Chicago Bears, down 16-6. But the defense really picked things up in the second half, holding the Bears scoreless and with just five yards on the ground. The 22-16 final wasn’t pretty, but it was the kind of game you have to win when you’re not playing your best, if you want to be a wild-card playoff contender, which the Giants most definitely are.

And here is the especially rough news for Cleveland – the Giants are starting to move the football on the ground. As BetAnySports customers know, New York has had a very difficult time getting any kind of consistency out of its running backs, but Rashad Jennings, who has been in and out of the lineup with injuries, has had 87 and 85 yards rushing the last two weeks. Cleveland has not played a lot of defense against either the run or the pass, but they have allowed 4.6 yards per carry, which is 30th in the league. They just don’t keep opposing offenses off the field. And Eli Manning, who has completed about 64% of his passes but has been intercepted 10 times, will appreciate the fact that the Browns are last in the league in sacks per game.

Let’s talk about defense for moment when it comes the Giants. They certainly hope that the game played by Jason Pierre-Paul last week was not a “tease,” as he had five tackles and chalked up 2.5 sacks. Landon Collins chipped in with a late interception of Jay Cutler, and he is making a pretty good case for defensive player of the year, which would be a tremendous statement for this team that finished last in yardage allowed in the 2015 season.

This is the question surrounding the Browns – can they win a game over the remaining schedule? It would appear that their best chances might be at home, either against Cincinnati on December 11 or San Diego on Christmas Eve. But unless the Giants go to sleep here, it’s not likely to happen this Sunday. If New York can get the pressure on – and the Browns’ offensive line gave up eight sacks last week – Cleveland is really going to be in a quandary as far as which quarterback is still going to be standing.
