Andy Dalton and the Bengals passing game will be looking to get back on track this week. Last week’s loss included not only three picks, but also a game ending sack which resulted in a safety. With all this being said, Andy Dalton still ranks fourth in passing yards compared to other quarterbacks in the league. He has a roster full of weapons at his disposal. A.J. Green and Marvin Jones will look to have a big game against a Ravens defense that has seen better days. A.J. Green is coming off of four straight 100-yard games, while Marvin Jones caught four touchdowns passes in Week 8 alone. Dalton is also no stranger to spreading the ball out as well.

The Bengals are trying to recover from a devastating loss to the Miami Dolphins. However, the loss of Geno Atkins is perhaps more detrimental to them. The Bengals will have to continue the rest of their season without him. He has indisputably been their best defensive player and defensive tackle. Running back Giovani Bernard is also listed as questionable for this week with a rib injury. He is coming off of his best game last week with 79 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Short of A.J. Green, Bernard has proven himself to be one of the Bengals most explosive offensive players. The Bengals should still be able to put up points against a struggling Ravens defense.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens find themselves playing at home at the M&T Bank Stadium. They have won 7 of their last 8 home games against AFC North opponents. Linebacker Terrell Suggs is still playing at a high level as he is ranked fifth in the NFL with 9 sacks. The Ravens rushing defense also held Cleveland to only 73 yards rushing while not allowing a rushing touchdown in 7 of the last 8 games. This is an NFL best, but will likely change if Giovani Bernard finds himself in the lineup this week.
The Baltimore Ravens Offense has certainly been struggling as Joe Flacco has been forced to release the ball quickly. He has found himself running for his life as of late. He also will dearly miss his tight end Dennis Pitta, which used to be his bail out go to guy in those particular situations. In the last two games against the Bengals, Pitta has 135 yards of production with two touchdowns. Ray Rice is also on track to have one of his worst years as a Raven. He is only averaging 2.7 yards a carry. This only averages out to be a les than a measly 600 yards for the entire season.

Prediction: Bengals 32, Ravens 13

The Cincinnati Bengals are just the better team this year. They may struggle with some injuries, but the Ravens have yet to produce a convincing wins this year. Look for Andy Dalton to find his groove this week, while the Ravens offense continues to be less than impressive.
