The Miami Dolphins simply could not get their offense going last week against the Seattle Seahawks, and so Adam Gase, the first-year head coach who is known as a “guru” along these lines, certainly what has his work cut out for him. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots look just fine with a new man at the controls. These teams will meet up in an AFC East matchup on Sunday at 1 PM ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. What made Garoppolo’s task even more difficult was the fact that the Patriots started two rookies on the offensive line. And on top of that, they were without All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski. Well, it looks like Gronk is going to try his best to make post this time around, and you’ll see what coach Bill Belichick hopes is going to be a dynamic combination with Martellus Bennett, as they try to recapture the magic they had with a two-tight end system when it had Aaron Hernandez (the current convict) teaming with Gronkowski.
Arian Foster, one of the better backs in the NFL when healthy, had a 50-yard reception for the Dolphins last week, but gained only 38 yards on 13 carries. And outside of Jarvis Landry, the wide receivers really don’t threaten anybody. The Dolphins hope that Devante Parker, last year’s #1 draft choice, can make his season debut after sitting out the opener with a hamstring problem.

So they might just be able to put some pressure on the young New England quarterback. The Patriots’ running game could have done a lot better; they gained only 3.4 yards per carry. But any team coached by Belichick is going to be able to improvise, and they got quite a contribution from James White catching passes out of the backfield.
