The Cleveland Browns are set to play the New England Patriots Dec. 8 on the Patriots’ home turf.

The Browns, who are 4-8, have had a rocky start this season. The last time the two played, in 2010, the Browns walked away the victor, winning by 20 points for a 34-14 game. Sunday’s game, however, may be different. The Patriots, who are 9-3, have a better record and their starting lineup.

The Browns’ quarterback, and their backup quarterback, are out. Currently it is not known who will start in the Sunday game. Coach Rob Chudzinski, of the Browns, said that decisions are still being made as to who will play against the Patriots in the game. Possible choices are Jason Campbell, Caleb Hanie, Brandon Weeden, and Alex Tanney.

Jason Campbell has been cleared to practice but it is unknown if he will be able to play in Sunday nights game after his injury.

The Browns are hoping for a back-to-back win against the Patriots, which has not happened since the ’94 season. However, the past season for the Browns has not been an easy one. They are coming off a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 32-28. For the Browns to pull off another win, they’ll have to strengthen their offense and defense to stave off the Patriots from the end zone.

The Patriots need to prepare their defensive and offensive players, because, whoever is chosen for the Browns, will be surrounded by a good offense and defense. Looking for holes in the defense or offense will help the Patriots score touch down after touchdown if they know where to look.

A general consensus is that the Browns should be worried after their last three losses and their lack of a quarterback currently. If the Browns can bounce back from their last three losses and compete with a team that has been doing well all season, it will be a head scratcher, but not one that is undeserved. But if they hope to win the stars may need to align perfectly, the offense will need to patch up any holes, and the defense will need to sack Brady as early and often as possible.
